Volunteer Opportunity: TEC's 12 Days of Giving

DCC's community partner, @transcontinentalempowermentcor is kicking off their 12 Days of Giving on Friday, November 29! They’re celebrating 10 years of service by providing local families with food, clothing, and essentials — and they need volunteers to help make it happen.

Volunteer Duties Include:
Event setup & teardown
Sorting items for distribution
Helping families navigate the shopping area

If you’re available to help, sign up today! Orientation will be on Monday, November 25 at 7 PM via Zoom. Be sure to dress warmly, as this is an outdoor event.

Celebrate the holiday season with us at DCC’s Christmas Brunch! We’ll gather on Sunday December 15th, at 11:00 a.m. in Waldorf, MD for music, delicious food, games, and a white elephant gift exchange. Join us for a special celebration of Pastor Kev and First Lady Krissy as they step down from their leadership roles at DCC. We'll also complete a service project by wrapping gifts for our community partner Extra-Ordinary Birthdays, to spread extra holiday cheer!

Don’t forget to bring a pair of new socks to contribute to our DCC Kids Sock Drive and help support those in need this winter. Don't miss this opportunity to connect, serve, and celebrate with our DCC family.

DCC is teaming up with the PG County Police Dept. for a special Sock Collection Drive, led by our incredible DCC Kids! From Nov 1 - Dec 15, we’ll be collecting new athletic socks in all sizes for children and adults. With your support, we’ll help keep residents in PG County shelters warm as winter approaches.

You can donate socks at our November & December Watch Parties or our Christmas Brunch on 12/15 in Waldorf, MD. Every pair of socks will bring comfort to those in need, showing the strength of a community that cares. #service #comediscoverus #love
